Q: What is a 'plog'? What does it stand for?
A: It comes from the Swedish word 'plocka' and amalgamated with jogging, roughly translates to running whilst picking up rubbish.
Q: How fit do I need to be to take part in a plog?
A: We deliberately have a number of walking and run routes available so all fitness levels are catered for. You can take it at your own pace.
Q: Will I get a 5k personal best on these plogs?
A: Nope. Generally where we run there is a lot of rubbish to pick up and it's pretty stop start. You can generally estimate around an hour for the 5k routes.
Q: What happens if I get lost?
A: We always have 2 'leaders' running in each route. One will take the faster runners at the front and one will sweep up the back.
Q: Can I bring my family along?
A: Please do! We love seeing the little ones getting involved. This is one of the reasons that we're doing this, so we can pass on a cleaner planet to the next generation and ensure they keep up the good work.
